2017 Makeup + Skincare Favourites!

How was 2017 for everyone? I can't believe the year has come to an end already. Time really flies! 2018 has been incredibly cold. Apparently it's been the coldest Canada has been in 100 years? Can I work from home please??

2017 was one of the best years I've had. The first half of 2017 wasn't too memorable, but the latter half was amazing!
I went and visited Japan for the very first time. I already want to go back!
I also got a job promotion at work. So all in all, 2017 was pretty good.

I have a lot more makeup related items this year as I started to wear more. Even though I still enjoy trying skincare items, I've started to shift my interest towards makeup. I still don't wear too much, but I've found some items I'm really enjoying.

Similar to last year, I've split up my favourites between skincare and makeup related items.

Laneige - Serum Intense Lipstick Review in Sheer Beige

Happy day! I had been searching for this lipstick line by Laneige for years and finally during one of my shopping trips to Pacific Mall, I was able to find it! Not sure why this particular line isn't as popular. Sephora has the two toned lipsticks available, but they don't actually appeal to me. Mainly because they don't look too good on me.

The lipsticks are available at Laneige/Amore Pacific stores (certain ones. I found this at Market Village right beside Pacific Mall. The actual PMall location only has the two toned lipsticks IOPE). Or Sephora Singapore, which doesn't help me either.

The colour payoff is exactly as they advertise - intense!

Fall Empties & De-clutter 2016

It's that time of the month again!

The weather has been strange lately. It's going back and forth between warm and cold. Though I'm told within this coming Winter will be the coldest in the past couple years. I am not looking forward to that. Thank goodness for Uniqlo opening up! I can stock up on leggings. Winter is coming my friends!

Anyway, similar to my post from May, I only have a few products that are actually empty. The rest are de-clutters. I'm doing a pretty good job in clearing out unwanted products every once in a while. I have to remind myself to do this more often.

Laneige Water Bank Serum Review - New Winter Must Have!

*pokes head out from rock* Well hey there....

I know I have been MIA from this blog for many months. I am afraid I lost a bit of motivation and creative juices to continue posting reviews. Not to say that I have stopped with my skincare or makeup purchases, I have continued to explore and try new products.
But good news, I graduated University in April and moved out to start working in May right after. I have been settling into my job quite well and I have begun writing up posts once again. I am hoping to release new content for this blog.

For my new post, I am so happy and lucky to have been chosen by Influenster* to review the Laneige Water Bank Serum!

The serum is not new, but it is newly launched as Sephora! So for all you Laneige enthusiasts in Canada, no need to order online from overseas sellers anymore. Laneige skincare (along with their famed BB cushion) are now available in Sephora stores! Unfortunately, their makeup range has yet to be released. So for the time being, I can only lust after their lipsticks from afar.
I have been eyeing this product for years and have been lusting to try it, but since my attention span is rather fleeting, I always get caught up in another product.
But let us take a further look into this serum...

Sasa, The Face Shop and Bath and Body Works Candle Haul

Hello everyone!

I just moved into my summer workplace, and I didn't have internet for a week, so I couldn't post last Sunday. I also didn't have water for a couple days... really makes you appreciate the little things.
But anyway, I am back with internet!

When I was packing for my move, I tried to stock up on as much as I could. My second suitcase is filled with my backups. 4 boxes of The Face Shop cotton pads, night creams, day creams, serums, so much! I'm surprised I managed to fit as much as I did.

The few things I bought/ordered:
