New! Benton's repackaged Tea Tree Mist. Now in a larger bottle and better spray!

Lately, I have really been into mists/facial sprays. The reasoning may not be the best, but I mainly like it because I'm usually rushing for work in the morning. So I like sprays because they save me time and they're great for layering my skincare.

If you haven’t heard or tried Benton products before, you definitely should. I’ve used their Snail bee line and I really like it. Great for anti-wrinkle care and very moisturizing during the winter.

I’ve always known that Benton uses high quality ingredients and they focus on freshly made products by sticking to small batch productions, however, the actual story behind Benton is actually quite interesting.

Taken from their website:
“Benton is inspired by and named after the movie, ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ in which Benjamin Button grows younger with time […] Benton desires to restore you skin back to its original healthy condition with healthy recipes, rather than to give temporary effects with harmful ingredients.”

Benton was kind enough to send me their new Tea Tree Mist to review. They recently repackaged the product boasting a larger bottle and better spray.

I don’t use tea tree products too often, but I always rely on it when I break out. If you’re not familiar with tea tree, it is offers great anti-bacterial properties which is used to treat infections. But it does also have soothing and deodorizing effects too.

It also contains Sodium Hyaluronate (the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid). Used in cosmetics, it helps keep the skin moist and firm.

Secret Key - Starting Treatment Essence Review

Can you believe it's already December?! I have to say, this year just flew by. Have you started Christmas shopping yet? I have, but there are so many people to shop for!

I'm already trying to figure out what my New Years Resolutions will be. The last time I tried setting resolutions for myself  was when I was still a student. Naturally I always gave up on them within the first couple weeks of the new year/new semester. But this year will be different! (which I'm sure everyone has said that before...)

Anyway, I'm reviewing the Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence today.

I've heard a lot of great thing about the 'first essence' treatments. The most notable one being SK II. Many Korean brands have since come out with their own cheaper alternatives. Missha, Scinic and Secret Key to name a few.

Fall Empties & De-clutter 2016

It's that time of the month again!

The weather has been strange lately. It's going back and forth between warm and cold. Though I'm told within this coming Winter will be the coldest in the past couple years. I am not looking forward to that. Thank goodness for Uniqlo opening up! I can stock up on leggings. Winter is coming my friends!

Anyway, similar to my post from May, I only have a few products that are actually empty. The rest are de-clutters. I'm doing a pretty good job in clearing out unwanted products every once in a while. I have to remind myself to do this more often.

Holika Holika: Limited edition Dodo Cat Lip Tint Bar Review

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

I have a new lip review today! Another bad influence purchase courtesy of Instagram. One of the most impulsive purchases I have made in a while. I saw it on Instagram, went on eBay, bought it and then went to bed. Exactly in that order, haha.

I've actually wanted a Holika Holika lipstick for the longest time. It's just the shades they offer have never appealed to me.

But I love it for the packaging. It is cute and the lipstick is in the shape of a heart! A HEART! That and there are cats on it as well. I need it in my life.

This is a limited edition collaboration with Audrey Jeanne: Dodo Cat.

They also have a foam cleanser that is not pictured above.

I've seen lip tints becoming more popular. A lot of Korean brands have been coming out with their own dupes of the Dior Addict Lip Glow.

I've wanted to buy a Holika Holika lipstick for a while AND I've wanted to try a dupe of the Dior lip glow. So this is killing two birds with one stone!

PinkSeoul Unboxing! May/June + April Mask KBeauty Subscription Box!

Hey everyone!

I know it's out of the ordinary for me to write a post one week after my previous one; if you can tell, I've mainly been posting bi-weekly. I find this gives me ample time in-between posts to figure out what I want to write and it won't make me feel as stressed to push out content weekly.

Since I received my PinkSeoul box this week, I wanted to share them with you before they ran out!

The post office has been good to me this week. Almost all the packages I've been expecting I received!

This month, there's more of a mix of things I'll definitely use and a few I won't really touch.

Also, since PinkSeoul was newly launched in March, they held a giveaway for those who wrote reviews for their subscription box. I partook in it and I was lucky enough to win the April Mask Box! I have an unboxing of that in this post as well.

Let's take a closer look at all the products I received this box!

Berrisom - My Lip Tint Pack: Virgin Red Review

Hey everyone!

I'm back with a new post. I've mentioned before how I love trying new beauty/makeup products, especially Korean brand related. The product I'll be reviewing today was from the PinkSeoul KBeauty Box I posted about last month.

This was the first product I had tried from the subscription box the day I received it. The tattoo lip tint seems to be the latest kbeauty craze. I constantly see the product all over instagram.

Description of the product taken from Memebox:
Berrisom's Oops my lip tint pack is one of the hippest lip makeup in Korea [...] It's a peel-off type of pack that leaves vibrant colour that lasts for over 12 hours without smearing or fading.
The colour I received was Virgin Red which is quite bright. I've seen other brand lip tints and the tint once peeled off is quite subtle, but testing this on my hand, I knew Berrisom lip tint would not be the same. The colour packs a punch. Definitely a very vibrant red.

We'll see how this one faired!
